Volunteer Opportunities
Join the individuals who make a difference for the Chesapeake Bay. Show your commitment by becoming a CBF volunteer. All our events and activities are listed on our events calendar. Please check for dates and times. Follow the links below for details on how to get involved in our programs. Or sign-up online to be a CBF volunteer. Hands-on Restoration Projects Outreach and Education - Fairs and festivals: Represent CBF at boat shows, seafood festivals, state fairs, and other outreach events.
- Speakers Bureau: Give presentations to interested groups about the health of the Bay, its streams, and rivers. We will train you first!
- VoiCes Program: Participate in Volunteers as Chesapeake Stewards, a two-part training program that teaches participants how to help the Chesapeake Bay in their own communities.
Advocacy - Action Network: Become an advocate for the Bay from the comfort of your own computer.
- Office work: Help with a variety of office tasks, including research, data entry, answering phones, mailings, and other administrative assistance.
- Tour guide: Conduct tours of the Philip Merrill Environmental Center, CBF’s green headquarters building in Annapolis, Maryland.
