Help us pass the Chesapeake Clean Water Act

FEDERAL AFFAIRS PROGRAM

As the nation's largest and most biologically productive estuary, the Chesapeake Bay is truly a national treasure, on par with the nation’s great national parks and monuments. It is appropriate, therefore, that the U.S. federal government does as much as possible to protect and restore this national treasure. CBF works closely with federal agencies and Congress to ensure that as much federal assistance as possible is allocated each year to saving the Chesapeake Bay watershed.

CBF can’t do it alone.
You have an important role to play, too, by letting your Members of Congress and Senators know that you want their help in saving the Bay. Click on the links below for more information about federal funding and what role you can play in securing it for the Chesapeake Bay region.
