ADULT FIELD PROGRAMS
CBF encourages adults to be a part of our field education programs. From master gardeners to Scout troop leaders to faith-based groups, adults can participate in our one-day and residential programs, which offer a hands-on look at the Bay. Spend time on the Chesapeake getting to know the resource that is important to you and the generations that will follow.
Please note: The links listed below will take you to descriptions in the Student Field Experience area of the site. For adult trips, CBF staff will adjust any field program for the audience. Example: the skipjack Stanley Norman
One Day Programs - CBF operates environmental education programs that extend from the mouth of the Bay in Virginia to the waterways of the Shenandoah Valley to Pennsylvania's Susquehannah River.
Residential Programs - In the heart of the Chesapeake, participants spend three days and two nights experiencing the Bay at its wildest and most remote.
