Chesapeake Bay student leaders are young men and women who ask, inspire, mobilize, and guide themselves and others to make positive differences in their homes, schools, communities, and the world! They utilize the resources available, create new ways to develop and carry out their skills, and make decisions based on ethical environmental standards. They are constantly gaining a greater understanding of leadership concepts and practices by seeking out opportunities that allow them to grow and learn more about their environment. Each leader possesses many different traits and brings diverse strengths to the forefront when working in a group setting. A CBF student leader listens to the problems at hand, considers a range of alternatives, thinks before he or she reacts, and then solves problems confidently knowing all parties and environmental surroundings have been considered.
