From Northern Virginia
- Go North to the Key Bridge.
- Turn RIGHT on Whitehurst Freeway.
- Whitehurst Freeway turns into K Street.
- Make a RIGHT onto 9th Street.
- Stay in middle lane; follow signs for Maine Avenue.
- Make a LEFT onto Water Street.
- Gangplank Marina is at 600 Water Street.
- The Potomac River Program staff will meet you in front of the restaurant in the marina. The Chesapeake Bay Foundation workboat is the Susquehanna.
From the Capital Beltway in Maryland
- From I-95, take 295 North to the South Capitol Street exit, and stay in right lane.
- At the first traffic light, make a LEFT onto M Street.
- At 7th Street, make a LEFT and then another LEFT onto Water Street.
- Gangplank Marina will be on the right (600 Water Street).
- The Potomac River Program staff will meet you in front of the restaurant in the marina. The Chesapeake Bay Foundation workboat is the Susquehanna.
By Metro
- Take the Green Line to Waterfront Station.
- Turn right after leaving the exit on M Street.
- Go 1 ? blocks over to Water Street.
- Gangplank Marina will be on your left at 600 Water Street.

- From D.C. Beltway
- Exit onto 210 South (Indian Head Highway)
- Take Right on Fort Washington Road
- Take Left on Warburton Road
- Follow Warburton all the way to the Fort Washington Marina
