Sometimes we feel like we're alone in the fight. But the Chesapeake Bay isn't the only body of water in the country that citizens are working to save. Communities on both the east and west coasts are committed to restoring the health of their local waterways, including Narragansett Bay, Peconic Bays, San Francisco Bay, and Puget Sound.
Today, I came across Mark Powell's blogfish, and realized that while we think of our challenges as regional, the reality is that others across the country also have a stake in our success, or lack of it. Thank you, Mark, for encouraging your readers to become supporters of restoration -- including the restoration of a bay 3,000 miles away.
