Spinnin' Your Wheels

2381366465_3809ca381fHave you ever thought of biking to work? Me personally, no thanks. I don't have an "inclination toward perspiration." But if you do, Grist's article How to Commute by Bike can give you some great pointers on how to get started.

Among their tips:

  • Check out cycling gear. Did you know they make commuter bicycles?
  • Find a local bike coalition. If you're inexperienced or haven't biked in a while, start riding with a local group to get yourself in the groove.
  • Pick one day. Ready? Just pick one day and give yourself plenty of time.

Oh, and one more thing. Join CBF's Cyclists for the Bay. You can help the Bay even when you're just spinnin' your wheels!
