[This] photo was taken off Bishop's Head in early October 2013. My annual excursion with my class to CBF's Karen Noonan Center was extra special this year with 20 minutes of having a large pod of dolphins chase our boat and jump the wake.
For me as an environmental educator the Chesapeake Bay is like a backyard study for my students. My trips to CBF's education centers are the most popular and eye-opening field trips offered at the schools where I have taught. The students return connected to the Bay with its beauty, but also see the vulnerability that it faces daily.
