Q: Where is the farm located?
A: 11904 Old Marlboro Pike, Upper Marlboro, MD 20772. On occasion, people have had trouble with Google Maps, so you can find directions here.

Q: What are the hours of the event?
A: Burgers and Brews for the Bay will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 18. (The event was originally scheduled for October 4, but it will not be rescheduled a second time.) The event will end at approximately 4:00 p.m.

Q: How much are tickets to Burgers and Brews for the Bay?
A: Tickets are $35 each. They can be purchased online or over the phone through Thursday, October 15, or until they sell out. They can also be purchased at the entrance, the day of the event for $40 each unless they have sold out. Designated Driver and Children (ages 10-20) tickets can be purchased for $15 each. Children under 10 are free of charge.

Q: What is included in the ticket fee?
A: The ticket fee includes all food, beverages (including a reusable cup), and entertainment throughout the three hour event.

Q: Will there be entertainment?
A: Yes, the bluegrass band Fiery Deep will be playing in the main tent. We will also have hay rides, fish printing, corn hole games, and education stations to learn more about sustainable agriculture. CBF will have a table on display as will Future Harvest, Buy Fresh Buy Local Chesapeake, and the Capital Area Food Bank.

Q: What is the layout of the event?
A: Burgers and Brews for the Bay will take place on CBF's Clagett farm. This is a real working farm that has dirt roads and grass pastures so please be sure to dress accordingly (especially footwear). Each food station is paired with a brewery station and the stations are spread out throughout the farm so you can learn about sustainable farming while you enjoy these tasty treats. To cover all the stations you will be required to do some walking. Please note that pathways are not paved, they are dirt and grass. But we promise it will be worth it.

Q: What types of food and beverage will be served?
A: Some items to be included at Burgers and Brews for the Bay are beef sliders, Moroccan lamb sliders, and pork burgers. For those non-meat eaters there will be a veggie pizza made in CBF's own pizza oven. As for the Brew portion, we have multiple local breweries from D.C., Maryland and Virginia with a wide array of beers, from IPA to stout, and a delicious Maryland hard apple cider.

Q: Is this a family friendly event?
A: Yes, of course, but we ask that you please leave your pets at home.
