Tree Planting (Anne Arundel County, MD)

The Chesapeake Bay Foundation and partner organizations will plant 1,000 trees at the old Naval Academy dairy farm.  Sunrise Farm is an 800-acre farm, the largest organic farm in thes state of Maryland. 

Come help plant trees and learn about the restoration plan that CBF and the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service have completed for the farm.  Funding for this project and future projects on the farm are through the Trust Fund provided by the Maryland Department of Natural Resources.  This event is suitable for adults, families and community groups.  Registration is required.
