Brock Environmental Center Grand Opening!

November 16, 2014
1:00-4:00 p.m.

Brock Environmental Center
3663 Marlin Bay Drive
Virginia Beach, VA 23455

Please join us for the community grand opening of the Brock Environmental Center!

The Brock Center, located at Pleasure House Point in Virginia Beach, is an innovative example of environmentally sensitive and sustainable building—the first in Virginia to embrace a net-zero energy and net-zero water approach. The new building will serve as the hub for CBF's Hampton Roads office and support its Bay education, outreach, advocacy, and restoration initiatives. It will also house Lynnhaven River Now and will provide space for community groups to meet.

You will be among the first to see the new building! And there will be activities for the whole family including:

  • building tours
  • fish printing onto t-shirts
  • seining for bay creatures
  • boat trips
  • canoeing
  • music
  • and more!

This event will take place rain or shine. Snacks and drinks will be provided.

The event is free to community members but registration is required. Registration will open on October 1. Please check back then.
