Director of Teacher Professional Learning

CBF educator Amy Green.Tenure at CBF: 2015-present

Education: Amy comes to us from the University of Maryland where she is completing her PhD in Science Education as well as serving as the Program Director of M.Ed. Teacher Leadership, Special Studies in STEM Education. She also teaches a graduate level course on design and instruction including the incorporation of Common Core and Next Generation Science Standards.

Prior Experience: Amy worked as an elementary teacher for Montgomery County Public School for nine years before leaving the classroom to pursue her doctorate. And she has been an independent consultant with Discovery Education working on their science curriculum team as well as their teacher professional development team.
