Howard County Student Documents Her Oyster Gardening

Jessica Jenkins, a junior at Marriotts Ridge High School in Howard County, is doing oyster gardening with CBF as part of a Girl Scout Gold Award Project.

Not only is she helping to #savethebay by raising and restoring oysters, she is documenting the entire process by filming videos, taking photos, and keeping a blog. That way, students who want to do oyster gardening in the future can see what her experience was like.

Visit Jessica's blog, The Pearl Next Door, to see how her project is going so far.
