The Chesapeake Bay and the rivers and streams that feed it are an important source of beauty, recreation, and livelihood to the 17 million of us who live in its watershed. But our national treasure is in critical condition. It suffers from an overload of nitrogen and phosphorus pollution from many different sources, including agriculture, sewage, stormwater, and air pollution. Share your passion for saving the Bay with your friends and family and they will get on board with you!

• Build your request around your excitement and enthusiasm for saving the Bay.
• Remind your friends that their donations to CBF are tax deductible to the full extent of the law.
