Brooke Cash

VA Canoe Program Manager/Educator

Tenure at CBF: 2005-present

Education: University of North Carolina, Wilmington, BS in environmental science with a focus on river ecology as well as coastal recreation

Brooke grew up paddling on the upper reaches of the James and continued her kayaking career on the coast of North Carolina. Brooke feels priveleged to share any paddling experience—whether it be fresh, brackish, or salt—with her students.

Before coming to CBF, Brooke worked in Easton, Maryland, at Pickering Creek Audubon Center. That job played a huge role in her choice to continue working in outdoor education with CBF. As luck would have it, Brooke feels she has finally found her niche to try and make a difference in ways that truly matter!

You will begin to receive Bay updates from CBF soon.
