Education: Old Dominion University, B.S. in Education; St. Francis College Loretta, Pennsylvania, graduate work; Gifted Endorsement in Education Virginia State University.

Cindy started her journey with CBF as a Gifted Resource teacher bringing her gifted students on CBF field experiences and growing Bay grasses for planting in the James River. She then completed CBF's Chesapeake Classrooms eight-day professional development program and decided to leave public teaching and join the CBF team. Currently she shared her experience, enthusiasm, and love for the environment and the Chesapeake Bay with teachers, principals, and district supervisors as our Teacher Professional Development Coordinator in Virginia and the District of Columbia.  She presents to many different audiences statewide and nationally on CBF's educational programs and environmental education and assists with the Student Leadership Program and field experiences.
