CBF Becomes Charity of the Year!

A Big Win for Menhaden 
With your help, the Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission has voted to limit the catch of menhaden, "the most important fish in the sea," and CBF cheers! 

• The course schedule and registration forms are now online for CBF’s Chesapeake Classrooms and Institute for Chesapeake Leadership!
• Although the deadline for applying for a CBF 2012 spring field experience has passed, we still have a few dates available with some of our education programs. If you are interested in inspiring your students through an unforgettable outdoor experience, submit an application, and you will be notified if we have an opening that meets your needs. Applications can be found on our website.
• Four CBF field educators are now certified Environmental Educators in Maryland. All four completed a 10-month program developed by the Maryland Association for Environmental and Outdoor Education (MAEOE) for professional environmental educators. In addition, six members of our Virginia Field Staff have achieved various levels of recognition through the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality's Environmental Educators Leadership Program.
