Exploring Thomas Point Shoal Lighthouse

Join CBF as we visit the Thomas Point Shoal Lighthouse, one of the most iconic landmarks in the Chesapeake Bay.

Dating back to 1824, the Thomas Point Shoal Lighthouse is the only screw-pile lighthouse in the Bay still in its original location. In 1999, the lighthouse was designated as a National Historic Landmark, the highest recognition that a historic structure can receive.
