Camino Restaurant to Host Bay Seafood - Bay Action Night

March 9 Menu: Virginia seafood, tips to save the Bay and local streams

(CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA.)Camino restaurant in Charlottesville will host a "Bay Seafood-Bay Action Night" on March 9, 2010, serving its dinner patrons fresh Virginia seafood and, with the assistance of the Chesapeake Bay Foundation (CBF), providing opportunities to help protect local streams and the Chesapeake Bay.

"I know like me, many people who dine at Camino care about the environment, local streams, and the Chesapeake Bay," said Camino owner Sean Thomas. "That's why I'm sure they will be as eager to take action to save the Bay as they will be to sample items from our menu. My intention is that our patrons enjoy an evening of delicious food and timely Chesapeake Bay information."

CBF will have information about the Chesapeake Bay at each restaurant table that evening, and CBF staff will be available to discuss Bay issues at individual tables if diners so request, or at the door as patrons are departing.

Camino is located at 222 West Market Street. Dinner seatings are available at 5:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Diners March 9 must reserve a table by calling 434/293-2323.
