CBF Congratulates Anna Pauletta, Cumberland Valley FFA Students on National Honors

(HARRISBURG, PA)—Harry Campbell, executive director for the Chesapeake Bay Foundation (CBF) in Pennsylvania, congratulates Anna Pauletta of the Cumberland Valley High School FFA, for finishing first in the nation at the 89th national FFA convention in Indianapolis, Indiana. Pauletta is president of CBF PA's Student Leadership Council and also earned a gold individual rating in the Environmental and Natural Resources competition.

Cumberland Valley FFA's Environmental and Natural Resources Team of Pauletta, Mallory Taramelli-Dickinson, Abby Klinger, and Galen Witmer earned 15th place in team competition. Taramelli-Dickinson is secretary of CBF PA's Student Leadership Council.

"Congratulations to Anna Pauletta for finishing first nationally in the FFA Environmental and Natural Resources competition, and to the entire FFA team at Cumberland Valley High School for the commitments to conservation that earned them national acclaim.

"CBF's Student Leadership Council (SLC) in Pennsylvania gives a voice to students and encourages them to take an active role in the fight for clean water in the Keystone State.

"Anna is president of SLC. Her wealth of knowledge at such an early age, and her dedication to water quality issues and the success of clean water projects are extraordinary.

"Her knowledge of the environment and enthusiasm for learning is only matched by the care and compassion she has for the animals she encounters.

"We are proud of Anna. She reassures us that efforts to reduce pollution in Pennsylvania in the future will be in capable hands."
