Richmond Talk to Focus on Colorful Virginia Songbird

(RICHMOND, VA)—The Chesapeake Bay Foundation (CBF) is hosting a "Desserts and Discussion" talk on March 24 about the prothonotary warbler, a colorful songbird found in Virginia's forested wetlands. Virginia Commonwealth University Assistant Professor Lesley Bulluck will explore the lives and habits of these bright little residents, which are the only eastern warbler to nest in tree cavities or artificial cavities.

The March 24 "Desserts and Discussion" will be held from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Second Floor Conference Room at CBF's Richmond Office, 1108 E. Main Street in Richmond. The event is free and open to the public, but attendees are encouraged to bring a dessert to share. A prize will be awarded to the best treat.

Registration is required. Participants can register online here or can contact Blair Blanchette at 804/780-1392 or e-mail bblanchette@cbf.org.
