Give a gift that’s good for the environment!

Have a tree planted: 
  *  in honor or memory of a loved one,
  *  to commemorate a special occasion, or
  *  to celebrate a holiday.

With a donation of $25 or more to the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, we’ll plant a tree for you where it is needed most in the Chesapeake Bay watershed.

Trees are crucial to the overall health of the Chesapeake Bay and its rivers and streams. They slow down runoff and the erosion of soil. They absorb nitrogen and phosphorus — the two main pollutants in the Bay. Trees also provide habitat for wildlife and help to cool stream temperatures.

We'll send an e-card to your recipient notifying him or her about the donation and we'll send you an electronic record of your gift. Communicating through email eliminates the need for paper acknowledgements, saving time and resources.

When you give a gift of a tree, you’re not only giving a gift to your loved one — you’re also giving a gift to the environment and future generations of Bay lovers!
