Baltimore Harbor Bay Discovery Trip
Join us for a fun and educational trip out of Baltimore, Maryland on Thursday, May 22, 2014.
We will depart from Baltimore Harbor at 5:30 p.m. aboard CBF's 46-foot workboat, the Snow Goose. During the trip we will explore the complex and fascinating interrelationships between the Bay and its demanding users. You will leave with a keener awareness of the urban environment and how it interacts with a natural ecosystem. CBF staff will demonstrate the importance of this port as an economic lifeline for the state of Maryland, and help participants appreciate the life cycles and needs of the thousands of birds, fish, crabs, osyters, and other organisms which share these waters.
You will get a taste of what 30,000 students experience each year when they join us on a CBF field trip!
The fee to attend is $15 for CBF members, $20 for non-members. Children ages 10 and over are welcome when accompanied by an adult. To register complete the form below.
