CBF's Oyster Expo
Wednesday, November 18, 2015
Eastern Shore Conservation Center
114 S. Washington Street
Easton, MD 21601 (map)
Join CBF's Maryland Eastern Shore office in our new home for an evening of all things oyster! Staffed by leading scientists from around the region, this event will feature a variety of family-friendly exhibits, movies, and displays that bring to life the ongoing work to support the iconic Chesapeake Bay oyster. Learn about current oyster restoration projects and what you can do to help.
The event will be held at our new office in downtown Easton. A formerly vacant building originally constructed in 1925, the historic McCord Building sets a gold standard in terms of blending modern architectural achivement with the historic qualities of a structure desperately in need of revitalization. This building restoration has been a vision of smart growth, economic development, and community revitalization on the Eastern Shore.
Light refreshments and activities for the kids offer something for everyone.
