Join us for a professional learning adventure.  CBF is offering more than 20 courses that will explore the health of the Chesapeake Bay and local ecosystems throughout the watershed. Each of these courses provides opportunities for online collaboration, outdoor exploration, and independent discovery.  Fear not, you will not be sitting behind a computer all day! Though we will not be learning with you on boats and canoes this summer, we are able to dive into the challenge facing all educators today:  How can we make online learning about your local ecosystem interesting, engaging and meaningful?

We are committed to environmental education and equipping teachers with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to lead their classrooms in meaningful watershed educational experiences (MWEEs).  In the spirit of environmental education, we will be providing a platform for teachers to get outside, using CBF tools and resources, design student-led investigations, and collaboration with peers. Courses will still take you outside, familiarizing yourself with your local community and the Chesapeake Bay watershed. We have designed courses to fit any schedule. All courses cost only $50 and you will receive tools and resources to help launch your own discovery of your local watershed. Join us!
