Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Chesapeake Bay Foundation (CBF). After reviewing your request, a CBF staff member will contact you.
We will do the best we can to make your volunteer experience enjoyable and rewarding.
As a volunteer group, the commitment we ask of you includes:
- engaging in open communication about planning needs by being both proactive about describing your company’s needs and being responsive to CBF’s requests for information;
- ensuring the individuals volunteering are provided with the CBF itinerary and event details;
- ensuring volunteers have completed their health and liability forms; and
- honoring your commitment to provide the agreed upon volunteer count and performing your volunteer commitment to the best of your ability.
CBF will:
- provide you with an enjoyable and rewarding experience;
- introduce you to the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, educate your staff about CBF’s efforts to save the Bay, and explain how your volunteer role plays an important part in that work;
- honor the time commitment you have agreed to give us;
- provide the training required to undertake the volunteer role; and
- provide a safe and inclusive environment to perform the task.
We look forward to working with you to save the Bay!
