CBF Board of Trustees Match Active—Gifts Worth 2X

CBF’s Board of Trustees has offered to bring CBF members a special matching gift opportunity for Giving Tuesday. That means your gift to restore the national treasure we all love will be DOUBLED!

We’ve set an ambitious goal of raising $75,000 for Giving Tuesday this year. That’s enough to add seven and a half million water-filtering oysters to the Bay or plant fifteen thousand pollution-reducing trees! And thanks to the Board of Trustees’ commitment to a healthy Bay, your gift to save the Bay and its rivers and streams this Giving Tuesday will be matched dollar-for-dollar. Here’s how your gift will be worth 2X:

• $25 becomes $50 and can grow 5,000 native oysters, which can filter up to 50 gallons of water a day per adult oyster.
• $50 becomes $100 and can plant 20 native trees, which slow polluted runoff and soil erosion.
• $250 becomes $500 and can teach 7 future stewards how to restore and protect the Bay.
• $500 becomes $1,000 and can remove 600 pounds of trash from the Bay and its rivers and streams.
