CBF believes that buildings should educate, inspire, and reduce pollution in the Chesapeake Bay. The Brock Environmental Center is designed and built to meet the International Living Future Institute’s rigorous green building standards, the Living Building Challenge (LBC). LBC provides a framework for design and construction while highlighting the symbiotic relationship between people, buildings, and nature. The center demonstrates how these features contribute to reducing pollution and encourages coexistence with nature.

Guided Tours
Request a guided tour by completing the tour request form. If you have questions or need assistance, please email BrockCenterGreenTours@cbf.org or call 757-622-1964.
To provide a meaningful guided tour experience for both guests and our volunteer tour guides, we ask that tour groups be no larger than 12 guests. This allows for better engagement between the guide and guests. For larger groups, please email BrockCenterGreenTours@cbf.org once you have completed the request form and we will work with you to find the best solution for your group.
There is no charge for guided tours, however, donations are always welcome and help further our mission to save the Bay!
