Statement on the Passing of Delegate Barry Knight

Chesapeake Bay Foundation Virginia Executive Director Chris Moore issued the following statement in response to the passing of Delegate Barry Knight:
“The Chesapeake Bay Foundation is deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Delegate Barry Knight.
“Delegate Knight was a passionate legislator. We’re grateful for his tireless work raising awareness about the importance of menhaden, advocating for wastewater treatment facility upgrades, promoting land conservation in the Commonwealth, and other policies benefiting the Chesapeake Bay.
“Our thoughts are with his family during this difficult time. He will be greatly missed.”
