Tiny Forest Tuesdays

Kickstart your Tuesday mornings helping us maintain the Fonticello Tiny Forest in Richmond.

Join the Chesapeake Bay Foundation and Richmond Parks and Recreation on the first Tuesday of each month, April-October, at Fonticello Park’s Tiny Forest for Tiny Forest Tuesdays.

This young forest was planted in 2025 with native trees and shrubs to support biodiversity and create a healthy ecosystem. Volunteers will help by hand-pulling weeds so the forest can grow strong. No experience needed—tools and guidance provided.

Bring your coffee and a friend who loves the outdoors to kickstart your Tuesday mornings the right way!

Need a reminder? Add our reminder event to your Google or iCal calendar and you’ll automatically be reminded to register for the next month’s Tiny Tuesday the Monday before.
