Ann Jurczyk

Virginia Urban Restoration Manager

Ann Jurczyk joined CBF in 2010 as the Virginia manager of outreach and advocacy and currently serves as the Virginia manager of urban restoration. She has completed dozens of restoration projects, including designing and implementing buffers, living shorelines, tree plantings for parks and schools, vegetated swales, community gardens, and rain gardens.

Ann is a certified Chesapeake Bay Landscape Professional (CBLP) Level II Designer and Installer. She is a certified arborist and is on the board of Trees Virginia. She is a Virginia representative to the Chesapeake Bay Program’s Stakeholder Advisory Committee (SAC).

She holds degrees in landscape horticulture and English from North Carolina State University. On the weekends, you’ll find her at a farmer’s market, riding her bike, or forest bathing at a park.
