Denice serves as Research Professor of Geography at Penn State and Executive Director of the Chesapeake Research Consortium. She joined the Board of Trustees in 2024. Areas of expertise include aquatic ecosystem science, with a focus on how wetlands, streams, and estuaries respond to environmental stress and contribute to human well-being.
