Felicity Zimmerman
Virginia Agricultural Restoration Specialist
Felicity lives in Augusta County, Virginia, working across the Shenandoah River watershed to help farmers and other landowners adopt conservation practices on their lands. She develops plans that align with both landowner goals and Bay restoration efforts while also helping identify cost-share and private funding options to support farmers in implementing best management practices. Felicity is piloting a turnkey program to manage all aspects of best management practice implementation—from design to installation—removing the time and hassle that often prevent farmers from taking action.
Prior to joining CBF in July 2024, Felicity worked in the agricultural industry, spending several years with the Shenandoah Valley Soil and Water Conservation District while studying environmental science at Eastern Mennonite University. Outside of work, she can often be found on the farm, in the garden, hanging out with friends, or enjoying the outdoors. Her favorite place in the Bay watershed is her farm in Mount Solon, Virginia.
