Jackie Shannon manages CBF’s Virginia oyster restoration efforts. She works with hundreds of volunteers to produce and deploy reef balls and up to 10 million spat-on-shell oysters on protected reefs annually. She also works with local, state, and federal restoration partners to plan, implement, and monitor oyster restoration projects throughout tidal Virginia.
