Lilly Howard
Maintenance Assistant
Lilly grew up on her family’s farm on the upper Eastern Shore of Maryland along the Chesapeake Bay. She is passionate about protecting and advocating for the environment. She also loves storytelling of all kinds and currently has a few side quests in audio reporting as a podcaster and radio instructor in Washington, DC, where she currently resides.
She majored in journalism and minored in innovation and entrepreneurship at the University of Maryland. After graduating in 2024 she spent a year reporting the local news for her county paper.
After getting antsy at her desk and outgrowing the confines of Cecil County, Lilly spent a summer wrangling horses in Wyoming, which led her to rediscover her love for working outside with animals. She is enjoying her time working with the land and livestock at Clagett Farm as the maintenance assistant.
In her free time Lilly enjoys writing, painting, reading, camping, listening to music, and discovering new places and ideas.
