Lisa Renée Jennings
Hampton Roads Outreach & Advocacy Manager
Lisa Renée Jennings began her environmental journey during her undergraduate studies on the West Coast, where she led a chapter of the Student Environmental Action Coalition, started her vegetarian diet, and cultivated a passion for thrifting vintage treasures. Before her time at CBF, she gained experience in cut flower farming through the use of regenerative practices. Prior to that, she spent three years managing a Buy Local Campaign in the Hampton Roads region.
For the first decade of her career, she worked as a program manager, focusing on initiatives related to litter prevention, community beautification, and recycling education. At CBF, she serves the outreach and advocacy manager, where she organizes educational events and provides opportunities for volunteers to advocate for clean water policies and initiatives. Her favorite place in the Bay watershed is anywhere on the water at magic hour.
