Maggie Fritz
Director of Major Giving, Maryland
Maggie Fritz is the Director of Major Giving for the Chesapeake Bay Foundation’s Maryland office. She leads efforts to engage individuals, corporations, and foundations in advancing the health of the Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries through major philanthropic support.
Before joining CBF, Maggie held development roles at Blue Water Baltimore, where she supported large-scale restoration projects, water quality monitoring, and advocacy for common-sense accountability measures. She brings extensive experience in nonprofit fundraising, having contributed to organizations focused on environmental protection, water quality, affordable housing, and government efficiency.
Maggie holds a B.S. in Environmental Science and Policy from the University of Maryland, College Park, and serves as Secretary of the Board of Directors for Freshwater Future, a nonprofit dedicated to protecting drinking water and waterway health in the Great Lakes region.
