Maryland Staff Attorney

Matt Stegman serves as CBF’s Maryland staff attorney, where he plays a key role in advancing the organization’s legislative and regulatory policy advocacy efforts. Prior to assuming this role, he had spent time in local government working for the mayor and City Council of Baltimore and worked for nearly a decade as staff at the Maryland House of Delegates. Matt lives in the Stony Run watershed in Baltimore City with his wife, two children, and dog. In his free time he enjoys hiking, fishing, and cheering on the Cleveland Guardians.
