Thomas Arminio
Clagett Farm Program Manager
Thomas serves as the Farm Program Manager for Clagett Farm. He farmed in rural New York for eight seasons, served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Tanzania, and managed agricultural programs across sub-Saharan Africa, Central Asia, and the U.S. with One Acre Fund, CNFA, and Dreaming Out Loud. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Literature from Seton Hall University and a Master’s in Global Development from Cornell University.
At Clagett Farm, Thomas promotes regenerative systems that strengthen soil health, biodiversity, water quality, and long-term resilience. In partnership with farmers, educators, and advocates, he helps shape the farm as a hub for education, innovation, and advocacy. Through this work, he connects the success of the farm to broader public understanding and policy change in pursuit of whole planet health.
Thomas lives with his family in Silver Spring, Maryland, and enjoys woodworking and rock climbing.
