Trisha Salvia
Pennsylvania Staff Attorney
Trisha Salvia lives in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, on the Conodoguinet Creek (a tributary to the Susquehanna River). She received her environmental law master’s degree from Pace University’s Elisabeth Haub School of Law and her J.D. from Widener Law Commonwealth. She also received her bachelor’s degree in environmental policy from Elon University. Prior to coming to CBF, she worked at the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) as regulatory counsel to numerous water programs.
At CBF, Trisha focuses on Pennsylvania policies, regulations, and legislation that may impact the waters of the Commonwealth and ultimately the Chesapeake Bay. In 2022, she help draft and ultimately pass the Agriculture Conservation Assistance Program, as part of the Clean Streams Fund legislation. This is the first agricultural cost-share program in Pennsylvania. Trisha is also appointed to and sits on the Pennsylvania Statewide Water Resources Committee, serves as vice chair to DEP’s Citizens Advisory Council, and is a member of the Environmental Quality Board (which reviews and votes on DEP’s proposed and final regulations). She also is an adjunct professor at Susquehanna University where she teaches Environmental Laws and Regulations.
When not working, Trisha loves being outside, whether it’s gardening, running, duck watching, or kayaking on the creek with her family.
