Valerie DiMarzio joined CBF as the Maryland communications and media relations manager in 2023. Prior to this role, she supported communications efforts at various environmental nonprofits including The Conservation Fund, the National Cherry Blossom Festival, and the Accokeek Foundation at Piscataway National Park. Valerie is an avid nature lover who enjoys hiking with her dog, fishing, and wildlife photography. She also loves reading and writing and has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland. Valerie is based out of CBF’s Annapolis office and lives in Rockville, Maryland.
