Willy Beller resides in Brandywine, Maryland and works at CBF’s Clagett Farm as their native tree nursery coordinator. He grew up in the Potomac River watershed and lives, breathes, sleeps, and eats for connection to the natural world.

As an avid outdoorsman, Willy loves learning the local flora, fauna, and fungi of the Chesapeake Bay watershed. With a background in organic farming, permaculture, and play, Willy emphasizes our deep necessity to maintain and cultivate healthy ecosystems as the way forward.

Through this role, Willy aims to make strides in shifting the global industrial food system into a place of sustainability and regeneration so that future generations may know what sovereign foods are all about.
