(ANNAPOLIS, MD)—Chesapeake Bay Foundation (CBF) Vice President for Environmental Protection and Restoration Lisa Feldt today issued the following statement regarding candidate campaign materials including CBF branding, staff, or statements.
"CBF is strictly a nonpartisan organization. As advocates for the Bay, we strive to always publicly acknowledge any elected official who takes actions toward our goal of clean water. Recently, it has come to our attention that some candidates are selectively using CBF branding, staff, or statements in their campaign materials without our knowledge or permission. As a 501 (c)(3) organization, CBF explicitly does not support or endorse candidates."
