HR Information System Project

The Chesapeake Bay Foundation (CBF) is requesting proposals from qualified firms to provide an HRIS (Human Resources Information System) solution. Our primary objective is to identify a cloud based HRIS solution that includes core HR and Payroll functionality. The solution can be either a full HRIS system with built in modules, or a core solution that easily integrates with bestin-class solutions for the other needs listed within the requirements section of this RFP. The successful Offeror(s) will be expected to work closely with CBF’s designated Project Management Team to administer an effective and efficient program and to successfully implement a complete solution.

Clagett Farm Roofing Replacements

The Chesapeake Bay Foundation is seeking a contractor to replace the roofing on 7 of our buildings at Clagett Farm located in Upper Marlboro, MD. Each roof is noted below with approximate building sizes. Contractors may bid on roofs individually. If submitting a bid for all projects, the cost must be noted for each roof individually. It is required that each roof receives, at a minimum, a 20-year, no-dollar limit warranty. Due to the uniqueness of the buildings and property, a site visit is encouraged and will be arranged upon request.

The Chesapeake Bay Foundation (CBF) is seeking a contractor to identify suitable site(s) and conduct feasibility studies for the Chesapeake Bay Foundation’s Maryland Oyster Restoration Center’s future operating facility. The MD Oyster Restoration Center seeks a new facility to conduct its work. CBF requires services to identify suitable sites. The study or studies would capture the program requirements necessary to operate as an oyster aquaculture remote setting facility, lay out cost and timelines, engineering, permit applications, logistics etc. To work with a dedicated CBF team.

Port Isobel Island Education Center Solar Electric System

The Chesapeake Bay Foundation is seeking a solar contractor to install an estimated 15 kW solar system at our Port Isobel Island Education Center. The Chesapeake Bay Foundation owns and operates an island education center in the Tangier sound adjacent to Tangier Island. All materials must be brought to and from Crisfield, MD. The boat ride from Crisfield to Port Isobel Island is around 45 minutes. CBF will provide a captain and 40ft coast guard certified vessel for transportation. A site visit can be arranged upon request. We expect the project to be completed between December 15th 2023 and March 15th 2024.
