Photo of the Week: Landings and Last Light

Photo of the Week: Landings and Last Light

It was early April, 2019 and the female osprey was perhaps taking a break from incubating eggs or chicks already in the chilly evening. He was having little luck fishing and left and returned almost every 10 minutes. Perhaps fortunes changed and they shared a huge fish the next morning. Nature is truly all about luck and hope, and it plays out best if we just let it be. A sunset with osprey and the circle of life slowly spinning before your eyes is worth preserving.
