Press Conference: Hampton Environmental Impact Bond

The City of Hampton closed on Virginia’s first environmental impact bond in December 2020. It is only the third bond of this type issued in the country. This $12 million environmental impact bond will finance three innovative projects to reduce flooding and pollution.
