Queen Anne’s County Board of Commissioners Candidate Forum on the Environment Rescheduled for Oct. 8

The forum will take place from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Chesapeake College’s Cadby Theatre.

(ANNAPOLIS, MD)—The Queen Anne's County Board of Commissioners candidate forum on the environment that was canceled due to the potential of hazardous weather related to Hurricane Florence has been rescheduled for Oct. 8.

The forum will take place from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Chesapeake College's Cadby Theatre. It's being co-sponsored by the Chesapeake Bay Foundation and Washington College.

Greg Farley, Washington College's director of sustainability, will moderate the forum and ask questions on topics such as climate change, the health of the Chesapeake Bay, and managing development and growth. At the forum, members of the public can submit questions they'd like the candidates to answer.

Residents interested in attending the forum can RSVP on the Chesapeake Bay Foundation's website.

CBF is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and does not endorse or oppose any candidates in an election.
