Keisha Sedlacek
Senior Policy Director
Keisha Sedlacek currently serves as CBF’s Senior Policy Director where she helps coordinate and lead policy initiatives that span across the region, including our federal priorities, working closely with internal experts and external partners to Save the Bay.
Prior to coming to CBF, she worked at the Humane Society Legislative Fund, where she lobbied the administration and Congress on animal welfare issues related to the Animal Welfare Act, Endangered Species Act, Marine Mammal Protection Act, and National Environmental Policy Act. Before that she was an associate attorney with Hall & Associates in Washington, D.C. She focused on challenging nutrient limits in EPA-issued wastewater and stormwater permits. She earned her law degree and a master’s in environmental law and policy from Vermont Law School.
Outside of work, Keisha can be found trying to keep up with her two daughters and dog as they run from activity to activity and taking any chance she can to kayak, stand-up paddleboard, or enjoy the outdoors.
