Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 Native Trees and Shrubs
The Chesapeake Bay Foundation is requesting a proposal for potted stock and containerized seedlings for planting new acres of forested riparian buffers throughout central Pennsylvania. We plant native trees and shrubs to help offset mortality, increase diversity, and wildlife habitat in existing forested riparian buffers. We are working with private landowners, NGOs, and other entities for new acreage.

Smith Island Flooring & Framing Repairs
The Chesapeake Bay Foundation (CBF) is seeking a licensed contractor to provide all construction services involved in replacing the framing and flooring on an approximately 16’x20’ dining room floor at our Smith Island Education Center. Smith Island is in the Tangier Sound and is only accessible via a 40-minute boat ride from Crisfield, MD. A site visit can be arranged upon request. A 40 ft. Coast Guard certified boat and captain will be provided during the project.

Chesapeake Bay Foundation’s Urban Restoration Program requires approximately 15,500 wetland plants used in a living shoreline project in Hampton, Virginia.
