The growing season is here, which means we need volunteers on CBF's Clagett Farm! Roughly 20 acres of the 283-acre regenerative farm are dedicated to our vegetable operation. And we have 10,000 baby trees that need potting and care, as well!

Please join us for a few healthy hours on the farm to tend our trees or plant, weed, and harvest food for our CSA and the surrounding community.

Volunteers are asked to bring lunch and enough water to last through the event. We will have the tools you need at the farm, but you are more than welcome to bring your own.

COVID-19 Precautions:

  • If you are not fully vaccinated against COVID-19, we strongly recommend that you wear a mask.
  • We will sanitize all CBF equipment prior to volunteer use and upon return.
  • For the health and safety of our volunteers, CBF requires that all volunteers complete CBF’s Volunteer Health Form and COVID-19 Health Screening prior to engaging in any volunteer efforts. This includes conducting a personal COVID health screening prior to the start of the event. A link to the form will be provided in your registration confirmation email.

Check our calendar for scheduled volunteer days. If you are interested in volunteering but event registrations have not yet been posted, please contact David Tana at dtana@cbf.org.
